Design a logo for Backcountry Beefcakes: a group of overlanders who generate content about their outdoor hobby, primarily on YouTube.

 
 
 

the process

The Backcountry Beefcakes members primarily identify as people who are passionate about overlanding, but don’t like to take themselves too seriously. It was crucial that their logo reflected the outdoor sport with a hint of humor.

At the beginning of the project, I took two different directions: one more minimal and modern, the other more detailed and quirky.

After some collaborative discussion, it was decided to combine the two concepts.
